This week in our Cybersmart lesson, we learnt how to show Internet Etiquette. We discussed emails and why it is important to be polite and clear in emails (as sometimes, people can interpret the written word differently than we intended as tone is not always there).
We had to write emails where we were very clear with our words (and used the correct punctuation etc) and then also ones where we weren’t so clear and our words could be misinterpreted by our friends.
We also learnt how to comment and tag in Google Docs, Slides and Sheets. This is really helpful when we need our teacher to check our work or when we are working on a group project.
We also tried to use Google Meet and learn how to show etiquette with this, but unfortunately, it was blocked – Whaea Stacey is going to get us to give this a go next time!
